A program of the Montana Outfitters & Guides Association, Big Hearts Under the Big Sky is a service organization that provides high-quality therapeutic outdoor adventures—all at no cost—to those who have provided extraordinary services to our country and children who face life-threatening illnesses. Through this program, Big Hearts matches deserving participants with member outfitters to give them a healing, uplifting and memory-making trip in the heart of Montana.
Our mission is to help Montana's service members, veterans, first responders, and their families thrive and after service. We value respect, service, innovation, growth mindset, community, and synergy. We honor those who serve and assist in getting back into service their community. We all who have served through a hand-up and leverage unique methods to promote optimal health and wellness. We foster the attitude of becoming better tomorrow than today and recognize that it takes a tribe for our mission to succeed.
The Montana Veterans Fund is an endowed fund at the Montana Community Foundation established to support continued education, employment support, and mental health resources for veterans in Montana.
